What Is Maha-Sainik Canteen?

Maha-Sainik Canteen is an organized Supermarket network run by ex-servicemen and Agniveers across Maharashtra. The concept is simple — bring the trusted name and discipline of a soldier-owner to a clean, affordable, well-stocked grocery store in every taluka.

This is the supermarket concept for Tier-3 towns and semi-urban areas where organized retail chains have not yet reached. Customers get quality brands, honest pricing, and the confidence that comes from knowing a veteran owns the store.

Our target markets are towns with a population of 15,000 and above in districts across Maharashtra. In these markets, our only competition is the local wholesale kirana shopkeeper — and we beat them on price, cleanliness, brand variety, and trust.

Why Is This Initiative Necessary?

The Government of India launched the Agniveer scheme in 2022. Under this, young men join the Indian Army for 4 years — and 75% of them return to civilian life without a clear career path. These young people have excellent military training, are physically fit, mentally strong, disciplined, and have leadership qualities. But their next question is always: "What next?"

Many end up as security guards — a complete waste of their training and bravery. Maha-Sainik Canteen empowers them to transition into successful business owners through a modern and organized retail network.

In Maharashtra, thousands of talukas and large villages still have no organized retail store. Locals buy from expensive local wholesale shopkeepers with no brand accountability. When Maha-Sainik Canteen arrives, customers get a cheaper, cleaner, trustworthy alternative.

Everything you need to know before you decide to join the Maha-Sainik Canteen network.

Ex-servicemen, Agniveers, war widows, or their immediate family members (spouse/children) aged 25–55 years are eligible. You need a minimum of ₹2–3 lakh own capital, valid discharge/Agniveer certificate, and a suitable business location.

Start your own Maha-Sainik Canteen with an initial own contribution of just ₹2–3 lakh. We provide support for bank loans, subsidy assistance, and business setup guidance.

After loan/subsidy approval in the 1 or 2 months, our team will guide and share vendor details.

We provide regular stock delivery, helpdesk support for billing software, festive marketing assets, quarterly performance reviews, and access to a peer network of franchise owners. Your success is our success.

There is a one-time registration fee of ₹10,000 and support plus service charges ₹60,000 that is collected only after you have made your final decision to proceed. Initial inquiries, eligibility checks, and location analysis are completely free of charge.
