Born into a military family, Sachin Pawar grew up witnessing the values of discipline, patriotism, and service firsthand. His father served in the Indian Army, and those values became the soul of his business life — honesty, accountability, and putting others first.
Over five years of public service delivery work, he helped over 3 lakh beneficiaries receive DBT and government scheme benefits in Maharashtra's most remote areas. Each number represents not just a transaction, but a family and a dream he helped unlock.
Not content with just welfare work, he built an Ex-Military Complex (Sainik Niwas) in Kolhapur — a residential and community hub for veterans. It was here he realized that retired soldiers needed not just homes, but economic empowerment. Thus, Maha-Sainik Canteen was born.
From a military household to building a ₹250Cr+ enterprise — Sachin Pawar's journey is one of discipline, determination, and devotion to the nation.
Growing up with a father in the Indian Army, Sachin absorbed the core military values of honesty, discipline, punctuality, and service-before-self from childhood.
Five years of field work across Maharashtra's most remote districts — helping veterans, farmers, and the underprivileged access government schemes, DBT benefits, and banking services.
Built an independent residential and community complex for retired soldiers in Kolhapur — a space for dignity, connection, and support. This project became the seed of the Canteen idea.
After witnessing retired soldiers struggle financially despite their skills, Sachin conceptualized the Maha-Sainik Canteen franchise model — organized retail owned by veterans.
Full-scale rollout across all 36 districts of Maharashtra, with the ambition to reach 2,000 stores and 25 million consumers within 12–16 months.
Raised in a soldier's home and schooled in a sainik institution, Sachin Pawar learned discipline, duty, and devotion to the nation long before he ever entered the business world. These were not just values he was taught — they were values he watched his family live by. That early foundation became the soul of his professional life.
When Sachin Pawar says he understands a soldier's struggle — there are 3 lakh beneficiaries across Maharashtra who can confirm it.
"Sainik ka dard mujhe khud pata hai."
